So many people say that the number one fear is fear of public speaking. I beg to difffer.  After  traveling  all over the US and some international traveling, I have come to the conclusion that in the 21st century, the number one fear is the fear of being rich. Are you scared to be rich?

I can remember when I began my wealth journey, I came upon a passage from Nelson Mandela’s Inauguration speech. In the speech, which I quoted  in my hot selling book, Dynamic Diva Dollars, Nelson stated, “our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate but our greatest fear was that we were powerful beyond measure.”

I became very defensive when I read that quote. I was like, no Nelson, I am not afraid to be successful. I what to be wealthy. The Diva within asked me. Well, if you aren’t afraid to be wealthy, then why aren’t you? Why are you broke? You are scared to be rich.

Ouch! The truth hurts. I finally realized that I was addicted to proverty.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am a recovering brokacholic. I was not able to heal myself of this “poor’ habit until I admitted I had a serious problem with money. I realized that I had a love/hate relationship with money. I was living paycheck to paycheck, I did not have a budget, and was l married someone with the same issues. What a major eye opener.

Even more, interesting, as I have traveled the country and mentored hundreds of people to wealth, I see some petrified folks on this journey to wealth. One Diva confessed that she felt she had to apologize for wanting to be wealthy. Another Diva created circumstance that caused her to be robbed while doing my millionaire mentor program. Yes, detoxifying your mind and your pocketbook of old, toxic thoughts and action when it comes to money can be very deep.

Even so, keep the faith. You were not born to be poor. Matter of fact, you were born to be massively successful and wealthy. You come from a Higher power that has equipped you with everything you need to achieve your greatness in the here and now.

I am very clear that there is nothing special about me that is not special about you. Oprah, Tyler Perry, Donald Trump and the Queen of England have access to the same  source as you and I. The only difference is that they know who they are. They know they deserve all the fortunes that have been bestowed upon them. They know they have the right to stake their claim to abundance by planning and working for it.

Now, it is time for you to come to the same conclusion. You do not have to be scared anymore. You can become rich without selling your soul to the ‘Devil’-Proverty Addiction. 

It is your time to realize your wealth dreams today. You can have a healthy, wealthy and wise life and the money to enjoy it all. The American Dream is alive and well and I want you to get your piece of the American Pie. I got mine. Now you get yours.
